ENGLISH I SECTION I MED

     English I is given in the first semester of Medicine, they are introduced to English vocabulary and communication skills necessary for all careers and personal life.  This course starts at a beginner’s level, and it´s primary objective it to teach daily routine life, family and friend interaction, personal background and the environment.  Classes focus on introducing students to different English skills: listening, reading, writing and oral skills.  Many types of activities are used in order to have students work and learn in different ways, at times individually, and others in pairs or groups.
