English I is given in the first semester of the career, they are introduced to English vocabulary and communication skills necessary for all careers and personal life. This course starts at a beginner’s level, and it´s primary objective it to teach daily routine life, family and friend interaction, personal background and the environment. Classes focus on introducing students to different English skills: listening, reading, writing and oral skills. Many types of activities are used in order to have students work and learn in different ways, at times individually, and others in pairs or groups.
English III is oriented to low-intermediate language learners the strategies and teachings have as an objective better oral, listening and grammatical skills. It promotes a theoretical-practical nature, the usage of the language in both receptive and reproductive skills, and learning its structure and functionality.
